Recently there are some untrue and ill reports about “Nanjing IOT Sensor Technology Co., Ltd." (hereinafter referred to as "Wulian Group") over internet .The content of those reports is far away from the true facts, which not only also fooled many common people with lies , but also has maken the bad effect to WULIAN GROUP. “We take this problem very serious and must fight with irresponsible report. We should let the public know the truth”, released from the Wulian Group department.
As to the public email words from zigbee Alliance regarding to the Wulian group, There are many points which are absolute wrong or different from the facts.
Wulian has enough evidences to show the public that the words are absolute wrong or different from the facts, and those evidences includes the photos, the new reports of the third party of history, the government files.

Firstly, Wulian Group has never publicized that Wulian Group's products have been certified by ZigBee Alliance.

Someone with ill will made the maliciously false online, in which they claimed that’ Wulian Group publicized that Wulian Group's products have been certified by ZigBee Alliance.’. The purpose of rumors is very clear that they just want to frame WULIAN and disrupt the brand of WULIAN smart home. As we know, the zigbee protocol is public and free to be used like Android in phone. In the Mind of Wulian, there is no better certification than the good experience from our customers, and we are always seeking for the stable network, reliable transmission of wireless data and satisfying the demand of all the clients. All the goods of WULIAN products conformed the national and industry standard within the law regulation. Now the smart home product is very hot in the global market with 1500 above dealers.

If someone have the purpose that all the good of WULIAN smart home must be certified by ZigBee Alliance, this view is extremely ridiculous and irresponsible and it’s ‘gangster logic. In other words ,the events show us that Zigbee Alliance wants to become the only one judge to  determin any zigbee technology company's destiny,  to decide you can enter the zigbee products market or not. This is absolutely against the basic business competition rules. Zigbee Alliance wants hold his title and this event against any zigbee enterprises to enter the market without its approval.  So all of the Smart home companies should join up, to against the monopoly of Zigbee Alliance. No one business Alliance has the right to interfere with products publication of other companies in the history, rather than a business organization out of China.
Secondly, hard evidences to show  ZigBee Alliance China Regional Headquarters" in Wulian Group 

ZigBee Alliance established its "ZigBee Alliance China Regional Headquarters" in Wulian Group's Shanghai office in 2012. Shanghai government officer  and Mr. Bob Heile, the former chairman of Zigbee Alliance, attended the opening ceremony of ZigBee Alliance China Regional Headquarters. And many Medias reported this event at that time with photos and passage (website:http://www.qianjia.com/html/2012-12/19_173214.html).

Since then Wulian group has made a lot of hard work to promote zigbee technology while developing the smart home market in China. But someone become envious and even denigrate WULIAN group when they found WULIAN GROUP develop the smart home market successfully and  its products are very hot in China and oversea. So Zigbee Alliance try to disrubte the WULIAN group’s reputation via such an email with simulated fact and lies, rather, this event makes Zigbee Alliance lost all of its credibility.

Thirdly, Wulian Group is the legal holder of the "ZigBee" trademark of most electrics and computer accessories recognized by (CTMO)

The fact needs the evidence rather than listening the words of ZIGBEE ALLIANCE. WULIAN GROUP holds trademark of “ZIGBEE" in most of the electrical fields in China, especially some important one related with smart home such as Class 7，9，11，14，37 , by contrast, Zigbee Alliance only hold some trademark of “ZIGBEE" far away from the smart home such as class 6,8. And maybe this is the root cause of the public email from Tobin J. M. Richardson, chairman of zigbee Alliance. And it’s obvious that Zigbee Alliance wants to force WULIAN GROUP to give up the zigbee trademark in this way. Now WULIAN GROUP holds the trademark of “ZIGBEE" ,and that is as it should be, and it can launch any relative product with zigbee  trademark in China, rather than using the trademark of zigbee on its products.

WULIAN GROUP just wants to tell the truth of the fact with evidences as one common Chinese company here. Anyone can check the ownership of zigbee trademark in the website of Chinese Trademark Office (CTMO), just input the words of” zigbee”, and then everything is clear.

WULIAN GROUP has set up a panel of observers to make the investigation of any false reports with ill will related WULIAN .and the company will keep the right of law to fight back any rumor mongers.

Hope every media and person not to forward any words without evidence.


At the same time, we appeal every zigbee technology company bewares of tricks of Zigbee Alliance, and maybe someday your company will have the same experience like WULIAN GROUP after years of your hard working of promoting zigbee technology. Zigbee technology is free and belongs to the world, and every of us can’t accept that it become the tools of some organization, who use it to blackmail us.

Smart home market is booming in the year of 2014. For the international technology tycoon(such as Google, Apple, and SAMSUNG) and Chinese company ( such as Haier, Huawei, Alibaba, Baidu, Tencent and some other internet company or even the leader of some IT company and Electrical home appliances company ) have been stepped into the Smart home industry, smart home has been the time favorite. 

In the last quarter of 2014, the smart home market is still hot. Recently, the head-on confrontation about Nanjing IoT and Zigbee alliance become the hottest event in smart home market.

On October 22, 2014, an email appears in internet which is sent to more than 400 Zigbee members from CEO Tobin J.M. Richardso( the president of Zigbee alliance). In that email, the Zigbee alliance censured that Nanjing IoT is making propaganda in the name of Zigbee alliance and their products has been certificated by Zigbee alliance. After that, some media sites reprint the event and the overwhelming comments come up. In the beginning, some people criticized Nanjing IoT and some others feel that the Zigbee alliance is not earnest. With more and more truth has come up, most people begin to support Nanjing IoT. All about this seems like the Chinese people are paying attention to the destiny about the internal enterprise. Here is the screen shot which is found by editor from smart home post bar. This opinion stands for lots of people who comes from smart home industry. 


The picture says: The question about whetherr Nanjing IoT is the headquarter of Zigbee Alliance China is the coordinate question exist between Nanjing IoT and Zigbee Alliance. We don’t want to discuss.
One point I should pick up is that where is Zigbee Alliance in the beginning of the smart home industry? Nanjing IoT insisted on so many years in the road of researching. When they made a big achievement, and then Zigbee comes out. I think Zigbee Alliance is the biggest cheater. I appeal all the Chinese people to keep a clear mind. Why we should keep silent? In the time of IoT ( internet of things) highly developed, we Chinese is in front of the age, we should have the right to protect ourselves. We should surpport Nanjing IoT, which is a great company after Huawei. We should make our vision further, for the sake of society and country.No internal conflicts! No traitors! No company’s development smooth! We will fight for those who made great distributions to the society. We should appraise their quality, not envy their achivements!


On October 24, the moment outside people were guessing about the gratitude or resentment, Nanjing IoT made her statement to the public. The smart home industry people can get exact information about this conflict.

In that statement, Nanjing IoT clearly express that Nanjing IoT is the legal trademark holder( 7th and 11th) who was authorized by National Trademark Office. Before this, Nanjing IoT hold a discussion with Zigbee Alliance about Zigbee trademark, but The Zigbee Alliance insists that they hope Nanjing IoT should transfer the Zigbee trademark to American associations for free, while Nanjing IoT thinks that Zigbee trademark was get according to the Chinese law, it is a China's intellectual property rights, so there can not reach an agreement in the end.

In the statement, Nanjing IoT criticized that The Zigbee Alliances did not take actions to face the challenges from Bluetooth, wifi and some other technologies, but to attack Nanjing IoT who made great distributions to popularize and generalized Zigbee technology.

Nanjing IoT also shows they do not want to see the separation or bad news about Zigbee Alliance. Because they know, any kinds of reputation loss about Zigbee Alliance will affect their benefits. Nanjing IoT also expects that Zigbee Alliance can take a reasonable way to discuss with Nanjing IoT or Chinese related departments getting zigbee trademark used legally in China. 

From the statement, we can get that even though Nanjing IoT is in a unkown position, but she tried his best to save the benefits of Chinese company and The Zigbee Alliance disappears after sending out the email. All about the actions of Zigbee Alliance made the public doubt the original intention from Zigbee Alliance. Or just like others thought silence comes from Zigbee Alliance broke his plan? Or Are there any plans in planning? 

As far as I see, Nanjing IoT will make her destiny together with Zigbee technology. But there is difference between zigbee technology and Zigbee Alliance, development is the common goal for each other. Just like Nanjing IoT says, they are focusing on the technology improving for the fierce competition from Wifi and Bluetooth. As for competition, they will compete with other fashionable technology. We had confirm that zigbee technology is used in lots of smart home appliances, but it really far from popularization. So we hope Zigbee Alliance can undertake the heavy duty just like any other international associations do.

I think there is prosperous future in China in smart home industry,and it must exists grapples in competition. You should cherish each other in the line of cooperation and competition.

Wulian Group's Announcements on the Announcement Email from ZigBee Alliance Chairman

Tobin J. M. Richardson, chairman of ZigBee Alliance, allegedly emailed a Chinese and English announcement to more than 400 ZigBee Alliance members and interested stakeholders on Oct. 20th, 2014, in which he claims that Chinese enterprise "Nanjing IOT Sensor Technology Co., Ltd." (hereinafter referred to as "Wulian Group") has been inaccurately and intentionally misadvertising its products as being "ZigBee Certified."
Now, this news has produced negative effects on Nanjing IOT Sensor Technology Co., Ltd. ("Wulian Group") and its partners. Therefore, Wulian Group hereto releases the following announcements:
1. Wulian Group is the legal holder of the "ZigBee" trademark (Category 7, Category 11) recognized by Chinese Trademark Office (CTMO).
2. Wulian Group has never publicized that Wulian Group's products have been certified by ZigBee Alliance. 
3. ZigBee Alliance has established its "ZigBee Alliance China Regional Headquarters" in the Wulian Group's Shanghai office. Wulian Group has never claimed that Wulian Group has represented ZigBee Alliance on any occasion. Wulian Group only has used the "ZigBee Alliance China Regional Headquarters" title in some promotional materials. We believe it's not improper to use the title, and Wulian Group has never received any written objection from ZigBee Alliance.
4. Wulian Group will investigate the legitimacy of the ZigBee trademark on foreign products that have entered or will enter the China market, and will reserve the right of pursuing the protection afforded under China's trademark laws.
5. Wulain demands ZigBee Alliance to withdraw the inappropriate remarks and eliminate the adverse effects initiatively.
Since this year, Mr. Osbourne, the chairman of ZigBee Alliance Board, and Mr. Richardson, the chairman of ZigBee Alliance have negotiated repeatedly on the promotion problems of ZigBee technology in the Chinese market and the ownership of ZigBee trademarks with Mr. Zhu Jungang, the Co-founder & CEO of Wulian Group and his negotiation team. Wulian Group has emphasized several times that Wulian Group is willing to contribute to the global unity and authority of ZigBee trademarks. However, ZigBee Alliance allegedly insists that Wulian Group transfers the ZigBee trademarks to ZigBee Alliance unconditionally. This is unreasonable. Wulian Group thinks that these ZigBee trademarks are Chinese intellectual property acquired by Wulian Group as per Chinese laws via a legal way and in the country of China. These trademarks should belong to the enterprises, constitutions, or alliances that are registered in China, or the branches that are founded by the Chinese relative authorities. However, this reasonable requirement was allegedly refused by ZigBee Alliance Board.
With the rapid development of IoT (Internet of Things) and the smart home industry, ZigBee technology is facing fierce competition from WiFi, Bluetooth, and other wireless technologies. Therefore, each ZigBee member company and related enterprises should unite and make full use of ZigBee technology to enhance market confidence in ZigBee technology. At this crucial market promotion moment, as the chairman of ZigBee Alliance, Mr. Tobin not only allegedly failed to concentrate on the strong challenge of Bluetooth, Wifi, and other technologies, but wasted precious time and energy in criticizing Wulian Group who has made great contributions to the popularization and promotion of ZigBee technology. For that, we are deeply confused and regretful.
As a company that has been dedicated to the research and promotion of ZigBee technology for years, Wulian Group is and will still be an important stakeholder of ZigBee technology. Wulian Group understands that the unity, authority, and uniqueness of the ZigBee trademark are very important to ZigBee Alliance member companies and other stakeholders. Wulian Group doesn't want to see the split of ZigBee supporters or any adverse information related to ZigBee since any damage to ZigBee's reputation will hurt Wulian Group as well. Wulian Group is still sincerely hoping that ZigBee Alliance will consult with Wulian Group and relevant Chinese government departments about the legal usage of ZigBee trademarks and product certification in rational methods. Wulian Group also hopes ZigBee product suppliers who plan to enter the Chinese market will use "ZigBee" marks with caution and contact us actively to discuss the authorization of legal usage of ZigBee trademarks in China. Wulian Group also welcomes ZigBee product suppliers who plan to enter the Chinese market to contact us and discuss the trademark usage authorization. Meanwhile, Wulian Group has appealed to the Chinese Trademark Office (CTMO) and other related judicial departments to protect Chinese enterprises' legal rights, and make sure that intellectual property gets its due respect.

The icon of Wulian smart home software will show in your cell phone automatically after installation.
2. Log in
Username is on the bottom of our gateway and the password is the last six characters of the username.
3. How to set a Scene:
You can master the settings of software easily within 3 minutes. Even for those who know nothing about programming or internet he can operate Wulian smart home software successfully. One click to control and long press to setting a scene, timing or linkage, that’s all we need to do. So easy!
We take the “back home scene” as an example: when coming back home, we need to turn on lights, air conditioner, TV ,ventilation system and other devices in living room, close our curtain, switch on light in the kitchen, etc. But now we can put all these single function together to a scene.
